Eastchester Chamber Of Commerce Names New President

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – The Eastchester-Tuckahoe Chamber of Commerce has locked down a prominent Westchester business leader to take over the organization as its newest president.

Paul Okura, the president and owner at CMIT Solutions of Southern Westchester, located in the heart of Eastchester, has been appointed as the president of the Chamber, where he will serve a two-year term.

Okura, who has been at the head of CMIT since 2009, has previous professional experience with the Bank of New York Mellon and the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. Since founding CMIT, he has helped “small and medium sized businesses use information technology to increase revenue and enhance productivity, working closely with clients to eliminate the hassles and headaches associated with technology.”

“From the beginning, Paul ahs shown an unwavering commitment to his friends, family and neighbors in the town of Eastchester and the village of Tuckahoe,” former Chamber President Judy Fix said. “I can’t think of a better person to guide the growth of the organization.”

According to Chamber officials, Okura “was awarded the honor for his ongoing involvement with the chamber, including his regular service commitments and willingness to volunteer with new projects and programs.”

“It’s truly an honor to represent our incredible community,” Okura stated. “As president, I will try to give back to the Eastchester-Tuckahoe Chamber of Commerce and this wonderful community as much as possible.”
