Gramatan says its goal is to help older adults access resources in their community.

In September, it organized an “Old World Meets New World” wine tasting at Bronxville Wine and Spirits.

After the tasting, the shop’s owner, an expert in the field, quizzed participants about the various wines. Those that answered the questions correctly won a free bottle of vino.

In October, Gramatan hosted a “Fabulous Over 50” makeup demonstration at Bluemercury, a luxury beauty products retailer.

Makeup artists representing Hourglass Cosmetics did makeovers on attendees, who learned the importance of skin hydration while they enjoyed champagne and snacks.

Participants received gift certificates.
