Bronxville Chamber Sponsors Free Outdoor Concerts

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. –  The Bronxville Chamber of Commerce is again sponsoring monthly concerts through September on the streets of Bronxville. The series began Thursday.

Attendees can enjoy live music plus dining and dancing in the street, which is closed to vehicular traffic for the occasion. The entertainment is free, and food from Bronxville eateries is available for purchase. Each concert features a live band playing familiar cover tunes of primarily classic rock.

Concerts alternate between Parkway Road and Park Place.

The lineup for the rest of the summer is as follows:

  • Thursday, July 23, Plan B at Park Place.
  • Thursday, Aug. 20, That Duo Show and an antique car show at Parkway Road at Palmer Avenue.
  • Thursday, Sept. 17, Sue & the Fun Ghouls at Park Place.

All showtimes are 6:30-8:30 pm.

"The Bronxville concert series offers a feel-good opportunity for fun, free entertainment and a gathering place for friends and families, while also affording an opportunity to support Bronxville's local businesses," said Susan Miele, Bronxville Chamber of Commerce executive director.

"Everyone loves these events and looks forward to them every year. People often ask us to do them more often."

The concert series is produced by the Bronxville Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by James Van Metter Wealth Management, NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital, Pete's Park Place Tavern, Dalila D. Namy of State Farm, Pure Mountain Olive Oils and Vinegars, Bronxville Hearing Center, Danielle Marchione of New York Life and EMLJ on behalf of their tenants.
