EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Concordia Conservatory of Music & Art is set to present a special opening concert of the Hoch Chamber Music Series with "A Night In Italy" in November.

The concert, which kicks off the twelfth season of the music series, is set to begin at 7 p.m., Nov. 2, at Concordia Conservatory in Bronxville, according to a news release. The evening is set to feature artistic director of the Hoch Series and Grammy Award-winning violist Lawrence Dutton of the Emerson String Quartet, at the Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts at Concordia College, according to the release.

Dutton will take the stage with violinists Elizabeth Lim-Dutton, Jee Sun Lee, Emily Kalish, and Nurit Pacht, cellists Lindy Clarke and Evelyn Farny, violists Arnaud Ghillebaert and Edwin Kaplan, pianist and harpsichordist Marija Ilic and soprano Sheri Hammerstrom, according to the release.

"The concert includes works by great Italian composers, including Antonio Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons' (movements of Spring and Summer) and 'Concerto in B minor for Viola,' Nino Rota’s 'Intermezzo for Viola and Piano,' Niccolo Paganini’s 'Cantabile for Violin and Guitar,' and songs and arias by Giacomo Puccini," representatives said in the release.

Lawrence Dutton has been the artistic director of the Hoch Chamber Music Series for 12 years, "transforming the series into a world-class chamber music series with an eclectic mix of repertoire and artists," according to the release.

"Hailed as a 'poet violist' (New Yorker), Dutton, who has been the violist of the Emerson String Quartet for over three decades, has earned distinction performing more than 100 concerts each season throughout the United States and abroad," representatives said in the release. "Dutton's unparalleled list of achievements with the quartet includes more than 30 acclaimed recordings since 1987, nine Grammy Awards, and collaborations with some of the greatest artists of our time."

Tickets for the concert are $30 for adults and $15 for seniors and children. For information, call the conservatory's office at 914-395-4507 or order tickets online at the Concordia Conservatory website .
