Clark will be at the store at 680 Post Road at 7 p.m. to discuss her new book, "Dinner: Changing the Game."

Dinner’s mission is to help anyone — whether a novice or the experienced home cook — figure out what to make any night of the week. The book is about inventive and unfussy food. It also offers easy flourishes that make a simple dinner exceptional.

A Brooklyn native, Clark has been a food columnist for the Dining section of "The New York Times," since 2007. She reports on food trends (she introduced the world to the deep-fried Twinkie), creates recipes, and appears in cooking videos linked to her column, "A Good Appetite." She’s also written dozens of cookbooks.

Following her talk, Clark will be signing copies of her book.
