The event will celebrate Mother Earth with lots of activities, including a car show. Speakers at the event will discuss organic gardening, making your home more energy efficient, greening your landscape and more.
The festival will include green products, giveaways, a farmers market, home products, healthy food from local restaurants and more.
It will also feature exhibits from the National Audubon Society, the Greenburgh Nature Center, the Westchester County Veggie Van, composting, solar energy, green roofs and more.
Other activities will include story time at Eastchester Library and performances by Solar Punch, John James Band and Musical Munchkins. Additionally, winners and all participants of the poster and poetry contests will be recognized.
There will be free coffee for attendees who bring reusable mugs.
The event is sponsored by the Eastchester Environmental Committee in conjunction with the town of Eastchester and the villages of Bronxville and Tuckahoe.
