EASTCHESTER, N.Y. The Town of Eastchesters Summer Sounds 2012 Concert Series comes to a grand finale this Wednesday with some good-time party and dance music.
After a four-week run of concerts, the series concludes with Streets of the Bronx, a band fronted by Butch Barbella. This band is popular for its wide variety of music, from 50s favorites and famous classic rock ballads to Latin, swing and reggae tunes that get the audience moving.
Streets of the Bronx will keep listeners of all ages tapping their feet at 7 p.m. on the great lawn at Eastchester Town Hall, 40 Mill Road.
Past events have included a smooth jazz concert, the Bob Larro Orchestra, and Eastchesters Own Teri Lamar and New Company, who played a series of hits from the past 50 years.
