In the event of rain or other inclement weather, the event will be held Sunday.
The Traffic Expo, sponsored by Eastchester Civic Associations and the Community Fund, will include a number of free displays, exhibits and entertainment, including a disc jockey, raffles, refreshments and performances by Studio B Dancers.
A car seat installation, free bike helmets, photo ID and fingerprinting, free vision screening and free blood pressure screening are just a few of the services available to attendees.
People can participate in a number of demonstrations, including smoke house fire safety, fatal vision goggles, Jaws of Life and DWI simulation.
The winners of Eastchester’s poster and essay contests will also be announced.
The event will be held from noon-3 p.m. at the Eastchester Town Hall grounds on Mill Road.
