The Bowl-a-Thon starts at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10 and will span a full 24-hour period, using all 19 lanes inside the Grand Prix. More than 200 participants and spectators are expected to attend. The marathon will feature various competitions, themes and prizes, including a free Honda to anyone who bowls a perfect game. Physical therapy booths will also be on hand offering massages and stretching exercise.

Live music and a DJ will entertain attendees.

Team sponsors include Bradsell Painting and Carpentry, Mt. Kisco Sports and Pro-Swing. Additional sponsorship is needed from local businesses to provide food, beverages and awards. Individual participants or teams can be sponsored by pledges for every hour bowled.

The Booster Club is seeking to raise $100,000 to build a permanent concessions stand with restrooms at Fox Lane Memorial Stadium. It is calling on the Bedford Central School District community to participate either as a bowler or sponsor.

“This will be the third fundraiser we’ve held for the Fox Lane Boosters in recent years,” said Grand Prix Vice President Nat Mundy in a statement. “If there’s one way that makes sense to give back, it’s by investing in our local school districts and encouraging other businesses to step up and do the same."

For more information about participation or sponsorship opportunities, email the club.

The Fox Lane Boosters Club is dedicated to the educational and fitness activities at the Fox Lane campus which benefits the entire community, including students. The Boosters have contributed to everything from score boards to lighting, refurbishment of fields and support of many programs.
