PD: ‘Intoxicated, Belligerent’ Sussex County Man Threatened Neighbor With Knife During Dispute

A Sussex County man was intoxicated when he belligerently threatened a neighbor with a knife during a dispute, authorities said.

Juan Zanatta, 54, used a knife to threaten a neighbor in Franklin during a dispute on Feb. 2, borough police said.

Zanatta, who police say was “intoxicated and belligerent” during the altercation, was arrested and charged with terroristic threats, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and disorderly conduct.

He was released in accordance with the state’s bail reform laws and is scheduled to appear in Sussex County Superior Court.
