Flipped Vehicle Shuts Down Roadway In Middletown

An overturned vehicle and downed utility pole shut down a stretch of Route 36 in Middletown, authorities said.

Traffic signals also were knocked down.

The crash occurred at about 9:20 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 8 southbound south of Wilson Avenue, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
