Back in Time: Dinosaurs & Fossils Children's Nature Workshop

Millions of years ago dinosuars roamed the planet. We will investigate what was left behind that gives us clues to how they looked, lived and why they are extinct today. We will go on a fossil dig expedition on the grounds of WNC, learn about some "living fossils" and each child will make their very own fossil to take home.

Our Nature Workshop Series are programs held on full day or half days off of school (going by Scasrsdale School District). Each program will include interactive demonstrations, a take home craft, nature-themed games, an outdoor walk in the woods and live animals. Please dress your child appropriately for cold weather (boots, jackets, scarves, gloves etc) and pack a lunch.
