The shooting reportedly occurred Tuesday afternoon at North 22nd Street near River Avenue, initial reports said.
The area was shut down for an investigation.
The victim, an unidentified male, was taken to Cooper University Hospital suffering from trauma with a gunshot wound to the head, reports said.
