What's on the Agenda in White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - White Plains City Hall has a busy week coming up. Here's a look at what's on the agenda:

- The Board of Education meets Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Education House at 5 Homeside Ln.

- The Conservation Board will convene at 7 p.m. Monday in the Common Council chambers to discuss the Westchester Church of Christ's application for a special permit that would allow the church to add a two-story, 17,000-square-foot building for new facilities. The board will also take up the Metropolitan Plaza's plans to build a 5-story, 130-room hotel on Main Street. The German School's application to build a five-lot division and expand its enrollment will also be taken up. To read the full agenda, click here

- The Planning Board meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the council chambers. A public hearing will be held to discuss Robert Saltsman's application to build a pool at 1028 Hall Ave., an environmentally sensitive site. Residents will also have the opportunity to debate John Valera's and Bartolomeo's application to build 10 residential units along North Broadway and Holland Avenue, also an environmentally sensitive area.
