Port Chester Choir Will Join Foreigner At Capitol Show

PORT CHESTER,  N.Y. -- Legendary rock group Foreigner will join the Port Chester High School choir on Thursday, Feb. 19, at The Capitol Theatre.

The show begins at 8 p.m., and doors open at 7 p.m.

Foreigner is the iconic British-American band hailed as "legendary" by Ultimate Classic Rock and "one of the world's best-selling classic rock acts of all time" by Guitar World. The group has earned 10 multiplatinum albums and more than 15 Top 30 hit singles.

The high school choir will join Foreigner for its hit "I Want to Know What Love Is." Some of Foreigner's other hits are "Long Long Way From Home" and "Feels Like The First Time."

"I Want To Know What Love Is" reached No. 1 in the United States and Great Britain and was named one of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Proceeds from Foreigner's show at The Capitol Theatre will go to The Grammy Foundation, which raises funds and awareness to promote music studies in public schools.
