What To Do Around Eastchester This Week

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Area schools re-opening, a teen movie and auditions for the Cottle Elementary Talent Show highlight the events around Eastchester and Tuckahoe this week.

Monday, Feb. 25

Schools re-open: Both the Eastchester and Tuckahoe school districts will re-open following winter recess.

Teen movie: 6 p.m. The Tuckahoe Public Library will host a film screening designed for teenagers. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

Tax help: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The AARP will offer free tax advice for residents at the Eastchester Public Library. 11 Oakridge Place, Eastchester.

Talent show auditions: 3 p.m. There will be auditions for the Cottle Elementary School Talent Show, for students only. 2 Siwanoy Blvd., Eastchester.

Housing Authority: 7:30 p.m. The Tuckahoe Housing Authority will hold its only meeting of the month at Village Hall. 65 Main St., Tuckahoe.

Board of Education: 8 p.m. The Eastchester Board of Education will have a meeting at the district offices. 580 White Plains Road, Eastchester.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

Library Board of Trustees: 6 p.m. The Eastchester Library Board of Trustees will meet for its monthly meeting at Town Hall. 40 Mill Road, Eastchester.

Thursday, Feb. 28

Computer Class: Noon. One-on-one computer classes will be held at the Tuckahoe Public Library. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.

Teen Board Games: 4 p.m. Students in grades six and above can visit the Tuckahoe Public Library to play board games with their peers. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.
