What To Do Around Eastchester This Weekend

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Halloween festivities will get started this weekend around Eastchester and Tuckahoe, with several holiday events. Tuckahoe Middle School will host a spooky dance, and Supply Field in Scarsdale will be transformed into a Zombie Asylum. See our Events Page for a complete list of local and county events.

Friday, Oct. 26

Walkathon: 10:30 a.m. The Immaculate Conception School in Tuckahoe will participate in a Walkathon and Spirit Day activities to raise money for a new parish gymnasium. 53 Winter Hill Road, Tuckahoe.

Preschool Story Time: 11 a.m. The Tuckahoe Public Library hosts a special story time for preschool children. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe. 

Halloween Prowl: 6 p.m. Come in costume to the Weinberg Nature Center for a journey through the shadows and a chance to meet live creatures of the night, such as bats and owls. $5. 455 Mamaroneck Road, Scarsdale.

Italian Presentation: 6:30 p.m. Dr. Maria Rita D’Orsogna will make a presentation on the impact of oil drilling in Italy. $10 for members; $20 for nonmembers. 24 Depot Square, Tuckahoe.

Halloween Dance: 7 p.m.-p.m. Tuckahoe Middle School will host its annual dance in the cafeteria. 65 Siwanoy Blvd., Eastchester. 

Film Festival: 7 p.m. Eastchester High School will host the Best of EHS Film Festival Screening. 550 White Plains Road, Eastchester.

Zombie Asylum: 7 p.m.-11 p.m. The Center@862 is transforming Supply Field into a haunted house for five terrifying nights. Undead zombies are anxious to escape their cages for the second straight year. $10. 244 Heathcote Road, Scarsdale.

Music at the Park: 9:30 p.m. Park 143 Bistro showcases artists in various music genres. This week will feature R&B vocalist and guitarist Keith Robinson. Guests will receive a complimentary Park Bellini. 143 Parkway Road, Bronxville. 

Saturday, Oct. 27 

Music Hustle for Breast Cancer: 10:30 a.m. Get the gift of fitness for free with classes hosted at I Train With Juan. 30 Elm St., Tuckahoe.
