EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – A board of education meeting to discuss the superintendent search in Tuckahoe, early dismissal at an Eastchester elementary school and a women’s history luncheon in Bronxville highlight the events planned around Eastchester this week.

Monday, March 4

Computer Class: 11 a.m. One-on-one computer classes will be conducted at the Tuckahoe Public Library, 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.

Board of Education: 7:30 p.m. The Tuckahoe Board of Education will host a special meeting to discuss the continued search for a new superintendent of schools. 65 Siwanoy Blvd., Eastchester.

Tuesday, March 5

Tax help: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The AARP will offer free tax advice for residents at the Eastchester Public Library, 11 Oakridge Place, Eastchester.

Early dismissal: 11:15 a.m. Waverly Elementary School will have an early dismissal for parent-teacher conferences.

Town Board: 7 p.m. The Eastchester Town Board will host its first meeting of the month at Town Hall, 40 Mill Road, Eastchester.

Wednesday, March 6

Women’s History Roundtable: Noon. Join members of the Women’s History Graduate Program at Sarah Lawrence College to discuss “activism and scholarship.” 1 Mead Way, Bronxville.

Afternoon movie: 12:30 p.m. The Tuckahoe Public Library will continue its film series with a screening of “To Rome With Love.” 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.

PTA meeting: 7 p.m. The Eastchester High School PTA Council will have a meeting at the Eastchester High School Library, 580 White Plains Road, Eastchester.

Thursday, March 7

Budget work session: 7 p.m. The Tuckahoe Village Board will continue working on its budget for the upcoming year during a work session. 65 Main St., Tuckahoe.

Environmental Committee: 7:30 p.m. The Eastchester Environmental Committee will host its only meeting in March. 40 Mill Road, Eastchester.
