What To Do Around Eastchester This Weekend

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Among the events scheduled around the Eastchester and Tuckahoe area this weekend: Eastchester High School students will perform their fall play, and the Tuckahoe Public Library is hosting a storytelling festival on Saturday. Friday, Nov. 16

Food Drive: 9 a.m. There will be a food drive at Pepe Cadillac to benefit the Food Bank of Westchester. 1245 Central Park Ave., Yonkers.

Babies And Bagels: 9:15 a.m. This informal, drop-in playgroup is for babies and toddlers with their moms, dads, caregivers and grandparents. All are welcome. Free. 255 Mamaroneck Road, Scarsdale.

Preschool Stories: 11 a.m. The Tuckahoe Public Library hosts a special story time for preschool children. 71 Columbus Ave.

Film Series: 1 p.m. The Eastchester Public Library will continue its film series with a screening of “The Amazing Spider Man.” 11 Oakridge Place, Eastchester.

Fall Comedy: 7:30 p.m. Eastchester High School students will be performing their fall play, “Players Club.” School auditorium. 550 White Plains Road, Eastchester.

Music At The Park: 9:30 p.m. Park 143 Bistro showcases artists in various music genres. Guests receive a complimentary Park Bellini. 143 Parkway Road, Bronxville.

Saturday, Nov. 17

Genealogy Fair: 10 a.m. The Westchester Italian Cultural Center hosts a fair providing an opportunity to advance skills with the help of experts who will be on hand to answer genealogical questions. Registration is required. Free for members; $10 for non-members. 24 Depot Square, Tuckahoe.

Tellabration Festival: 11 a.m. The Tuckahoe Public Library will host a storytelling festival that is open to both children and adults. The event is part of a worldwide celebration of storytelling that occurs the Saturday before Thanksgiving. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.
