What To Do Around Eastchester This Weekend

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – There are only a few events scheduled around Eastchester and Tuckahoe this Thanksgiving weekend. There will be a Hurricane Sandy fund-raiser at New York Sports Club on Friday, and a holiday sale in Bronxville on Sunday. See our Events Page for a complete list of local and county events.

Friday, Nov. 23

Thanksgiving Recess: Eastchester Town Hall and Tuckahoe Village Hall are closed, as are area schools and public libraries. The Tuckahoe Department of Public Works is open.

Work Out to Help Out’ Fund-raiser: New York Sports Club is hosting a Thanksgiving fund-raiser to benefit local tri-state rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Sandy. $20 696 Post Road, Scarsdale.

Community Yoga : There will be a mixed level class taught by recent teacher-trainee graduates. 91 Montgomery Ave., Scarsdale.

Saturday, Nov. 24

Weekend art class: 9:45 a.m. Gymboree is hosting a free trial for children ages 3 through 5. There will be a variety of art supplies and media for participants. 450 Central Park Ave., Scarsdale.

Holiday Boutique: 10 a.m. The Bronxville Women’s Club is hosting its annual Holiday Boutique. Forty vendors will be selling a large variety of goods and there will be food concessions with proceeds going to the Food Bank of Westchester. 135 Midland Ave., Bronxville.

HBMS Faculty Performance: 5 p.m. Violinist Chi-Chi Lin Bestmann will be featured in a Hoff-Barthelson Music School showcase. She will be joined by Donna Elaine on the flute and Tomoko Uchino on piano. $18 general admission; $15 for senior citizens; free for students. 270 Ardsley Road, Scarsdale.
