Monday, Sept. 10
New You Challenge: 8:30 a.m. These classes explore different concepts of fitness from developing endurance, core strength and flexibility to weight loss. 30 Elm St., Tuckahoe.
Social Needlers: 11 a.m. to noon. Bring in a needlecraft project to work on while getting to know fellow handicrafters at the Bronxville Public Library. This is a social hour; no formal instruction will be given. 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
Rotary Club Meeting: Noon. The Bronxville Rotary Club will host its weekly luncheon meeting. 1122-60 Kraft Ave., Bronxville.
Hairspray Auditions: 6 p.m. Rising Stars Performing Arts Center is holding open auditions for children ages 8 through 18 to perform the popular musical. 600 N. Broadway, Yonkers.
Tuckahoe Village Board Meeting: 8 p.m. The Tuckahoe Board of Trustees will have its only meeting of the month. Village Hall, 65 Main St., Tuckahoe.

Patriot Day: Remember the fallen. Memorial events are scheduled throughout Westchester County.
Afternoon Film: 2 p.m. The Westchester Italian Cultural Center is hosting an Italian film based on a self-pitying northern hero who finds he is at odds with his enemies. $10 for nonmembers; free for members. 24 Depot Square, Tuckahoe.
Cooking Class: 6:30 p.m. Learn to cook with a variety of cheese, from Asiago to Gorgonzola at the Westchester Italian Cultural Center. $50 for members; $60 for nonmembers. 24 Depot Square, Tuckahoe.
Childbirth Class: 7:30 p.m. Lawrence Hospital Center is offering childbirth classes for expectant parents. Parents can attend class on three consecutive Tuesdays, or complete the entire session on a single Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The class costs $200 per couple. 55 Palmer Ave., Bronxville.

Mystery Club: 7 p.m. The Eastchester Public Library will host its monthly Mystery Club, for all ages. 11 Oakridge Place, Eastchester.
Library Board of Trustees: 7 p.m. The Bronxville Public Library Board of Trustees will have its monthly meeting, 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
Thursday, Sept. 13
Preschool Crafts: 4 to 4:30 p.m. The Bronxville Public Library will host a themed drawing and pasting activity for children older than 3. 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
