Friday, July 20

Story time: 11 a.m. There will be a story hour at the Tuckahoe Public Library for pre-school children. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.

Film series: 1 p.m. The Eastchester Public Library will continue its film series when it screens “Jeff Who Lives at Home.” The runtime is 83 minutes. 11 Oakridge Place, Eastchester.

Family film: 3:30 to 5 p.m. The Bronxville Public Library will present “Shelley Duvall’s Tall Tales and Legends,” a 52-minute movie for children and families. The film will be in the Yeager Room. 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.

Free concert: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Annette St. John and DeForest Raphael will play a free jazz concert at the Yonkers Amphitheatre at the Yonkers Waterfront. 71 Water Grant St., Yonkers.

Saturday, July 21

Paws and Tales: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Children can practice their reading skills by reading a story for a canine friend. The program is open to independent readers ages 7 and up. Advance registration is required. All dogs are certified by the Therapy Dogs International. The event is being hosted by the Bronxville Public Library in the Yeager Room. 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.

Sunday, July 22

Farmers market: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a farmers market at Depot Square across from the Generoso Pope Building. 1 Depot Square, Tuckahoe.
