Friday, Aug. 3
Film Series: 1 p.m. The Eastchester Public Library continues its summer film series with “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen,” starring Ewan McGregor. Eastchester Public Library, 11 Oakridge Place.
Family Film: 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Bronxville Public Library will show “Apple Dumpling Gang,” a film about three orphan children who strike gold in 1878 California. The runtime is 100 minutes. 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
Pop-Up Art Show: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The pop-up art show is a one-night exhibition of young adult artists from the tri-state area. The show looks to bring new and different art to the community. 112 Kraft Ave., Bronxville.
Friday Night Jazz: 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Souren Baronian’s TAKSIM Middle Eastern Jazz Ensemble will perform at the Hudson River Museum. 511 Warburton Ave., Yonkers.
Shakespearean Play: 8 p.m. The Bronxville Women’s Club invites the public to the PiPE DREAM Theatre for a presentation of "A Midsummer Night’s Dream." The performance will be on the patio at the club. $5 suggested donation. 135 Midland Ave., Bronxville.
Saturday, Aug. 4
Lessons on Dirt: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Greenburgh Nature Center is hosting an interactive exhibit that will serve as an introduction to the world of dirt. $7 for adults; $6 for seniors and students; $5 for children. 99 Dromore Road, Greenburgh.
Sunday, Aug. 5
Worship Service: 10 a.m. The Holy Eucharist will be followed by a coffee hour at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. This Sunday is Children’s Sunday. 98 Stewart Ave., Eastchester.
The Village People: 5 p.m. The Village People will perform at Yonkers Raceway. Tickets cost $25 to $75. 810 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers.
