The camp, which runs from July 3 to July 16, located a few miles north of the Lake George exit on the Northway, offers scouts ages 10 to 12-year-old two weeks of living in the wilderness and roughing it.
Events include everything from horseback riding swimming and kayaking to sailing, waterskiing and rafting, in addition to much more.
The troop has been taking part in the camp each summer for more than 80 years.
Each activity has specialized instructors and the troop gets additional supervision from the scoutmaster, assistant scoutmaster and other adult leaders from home. The boys are all from home, that's why they keep coming back and having fun and making friends.
The cost is $470 per week or $870 for both plus transportation and special activities. The bus leaves from and returns to White Plains.
