With $19.7 billion expected to be spent this year in Cupid's name, it's comes in just behind Mother's Day, when more than $21.2 billion is spent to tell Mom that she is loved. The most money spent is over the winter holidays at $630.5 billion. 

This year, the average lovebird will spend $146.84 to show just how fat our hearts are, said WalletHub.
