JCC Of Mid-Westchester In Scarsdale Hosts Babysitting Training Course

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Jewish Community Center of Mid-Westchester will host a babysitting training course from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 7.

The course costs $95 and includes all required materials. 

Students will have a half-hour lunch. Food will not be provided. 

Students will learn how to:

  • Respond to emergencies with first aid, rescue breathing and more.
  • Make good decisions under pressure.
  • Communicate effectively with parents.
  • Recognize safety and hygiene issues.
  • Manage young children.
  • Feed, diaper and care for infants.
  • Start a babysitting business.
