On Saturday, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., in the Eastchester Middle School cafeteria, there will be a Girl Scout holiday fair.

The Girl Scouts are looking for leaders and girls in grades K–12. Girl Scouts learn new things, make new friends, service their schools and community, take great trips, play interesting games and lots more. They sell Girl Scout cookies, too.

Adults can become a leader or co-lead with a friend. No prior experience is necessary. Leaders will receive training and are supported by a helpful and friendly network of Girl Scout leaders from the Eastchester/Tuckahoe community.

Being a Girl Scout leader is a rewarding and fun experience and a great way to be involved with your girl scout and her friends. Many leaders are working parents, and leaders can schedule their troop meetings around their availability. Troops can’t be formed without adult leadership.

The cost of girl scout membership is just $15 plus nominal troop dues. Please email greet151@aol.com with any questions.
