Six Hudson Valley Places Among Top 10 Richest Of All 62 State Counties

The Hudson Valley is well-represented in newly released rankings of the richest places in each of New York's 62 counties.

The website nyup.com said it used the most recent census data in pulling the median household income in each city, town and village in the state.

Six Hudson Valley places made the Top 10.

Here's a rundown by county:

Westchester: Scarsdale, No. 2 overall, median household income of $242,782.

Dutchess: Merritt Park, No. 4 overall, median household income of $147,808

Note: Merritt Park is a census designated place in Fishkill.

Rockland: Montebello, No. 5 overall, median household income of $132,614.

Orange: Woodbury, No. 6 overall, median household income of $127,660

Putnam: Peach Lake, No. 8 overall, median household income of $113,375

Note: Most of Peach Lake, a census designated place, is in Southeast in Putnam. A portion is in North Salem in Westchester.

Ulster: Accord, No. 9 overall, median household income of $112,083
