The winners and their projects spanning seven different categories will be showcased in the spring 2015 issue, which will be on newsstands March 11.

The winners and categories are Leslie Gustafson of Leslie Gustafson & Co. in Bedford, for bathroom; Mimi Fong of Luminosus Designs in Scarsdale, for Dining Room; Daniel Contelmo of Daniel Contelmo Architects in Chappaqua, for Entry Hall; Randy O’Kane and Danielle Florie of Bilotta Kitchens in Rye, for Kitchen; Kent Pruzan of Kent Pruzan Interiors in Greenwich, Conn, for living spaces; Daniel Contelmo of Daniel Contelmo Architects in Chappaqua, for Master Suite; and Andrew Kotchen and Matthew Berman of workshop/apd in Briarcliff Manor, for Whole Home Design.

The winners were announced by executive editor Jenn Andrlik and editor-at-large Nancy Soriano during a gala at the Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck. The judging for this year’s awards involved a two-step process involving design professionals in Westchester County and New York City.

A nominating committee including Phyllis Harbinger, principal of Design Concepts/Interiors, LLC; and Kim Freeman of Kim Freeman Style & Design narrowed the competition down to 21 finalists. A panel of faculty at the New York School of Interior Design that included Veronica Whitlock and Margaret Minz then selected the winners in each category.
