Bronxville Public Library Social Needlers Receive Community Spirit Award

At a recent volunteer recognition ceremony, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York honored the group.

Members of the library’s social organization have donated hundreds handmade items, such as blankets, hats and scarves to the Visiting Nurse Service of New York since 2011.

The Social Needlers meet from 11 a.m. to noon every Wednesday in the first-floor boardroom of the Bronxville Public Library.
