Students in third- through eighth-grades from The Chapel School attended the Mets game on May 21, and the school’s Select Choir stood at home plate and sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" for the crowd under the direction of George Heath.

“I am so proud of these talented children,” said Heath. “What an honor to start this Memorial Day Weekend.”

“They did a wonderful job, and we could not be more proud of how well they did and represented The Chapel School,” said James Dhyne, principal of The Chapel School.

The Mets went on to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals, 5-0.
