On June 15, a check for more than $1,300 was presented to Kevin Cook from Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.
“I’m sure you had a great deal of fun that day, but more importantly, you gave of yourselves and your time to serve others, in this case the seriously-ill and seriously-injured children at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital,” Cook said.
The student council president and vice president presented the check at the weekly chapel service. “At The Chapel School we are passionate about service learning. We feel it is essential to teach our students the values of outreach and giving back,” stated James Dhyne, principal of The Chapel School.
