Eastchester's Allison Ciamarra Named Miss Columbus 2013

EASTCHESTER, N.Y – After evaluating all candidates, the Columbus Day Committee of Eastchester-Tuckahoe has named Allison Ciamarra as Miss Columbus 2013.

Padre Pio will be honored during Columbus Day activities in Eastchester and Tuckahoe.

The Eastchester High School senior was selected from a pool of talented Italian-American women who applied for the title. She will be presented with a $10,000 college scholarship from the Generoso Pope Foundation in October.

Ciamarra will be a featured guest at the Columbus Day-Padre Pio Festival in Depot Square in September and will be featured on the Generoso Pope Foundation Flat in the New York City Columbus Day Parade on Oct. 14.

There will be an Honoree Reception on May 31 at the Generoso Pope Foundation. Dominic Cesarini, who was named the Man of the Year and the DiRienzo family will receive the Family Legacy Award.
