The choir, led by Chapel School music teacher George Heath, delighted the audience with various songs.
“The energy that came into the chapel when the children arrived was fantastic,” said one attendee.
The audience enjoyed hearing the children sing. “It is great to see the children enjoying themselves too," said a Wartburg staff member. "I hope they will remember these times and think that seniors can have fun times like everyone else."
The choir and the seniors even sang together. At one point a few people were dancing to the rhythm.
The Wartburg offers integrated, comprehensive senior care services. It provides a wide range of services to both residents and people in their own homes.
The Chapel School Choir consists of students in grades three to eight at the school. Admittance into the choir is by audition. The choir has an intense performance schedule throughout the year.
