Tuckahoe Elementary Student Performs With County Chorus

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – Tuckahoe elementary school student Anthony Gjelaj has been named among the finest singers in all of the county, as he represented the William E. Cottle Elementary School as a member of the Westchester County School Music Festival.

Gjelaj performed a solo at the March 16 concert, topping more than 100 kids who tried out according to his music teacher, Keiha Kim. The fifth grader was one of just five elementary school students to be afforded such an honor.

Joining Gjelaj at the All-County Music Festival at the SUNY Purchase Performing Arts Center were Sydney Nealis, Alexis Pinto and Emily Marais, all of who were chosen to represent Cottle in October.
