The Council is a nonpartisan federal advisory council created to serve as an independent source of advice and counsel to the President, Congress, and the Small Business Administration on economic issues of importance to women business owners.
“Business ownership provides women with a pathway to economic empowerment, allowing them to follow their passion and create their own career, on their own terms,” said Arslan.
She has been an advocate for the small business community and is an experienced business owner, according to an announcement.
Arslan's appointment is for three years,
