Isabella, 17, who has already opened for Reba McEntire and Ricky Skaggs at Wembley Arena in London and collaborated with songwriters Chas Sandford and Marty Dodson continues to keep her schedule jam-packed.

“I’ll be touring over the summer, it’s all being set up still. I’ll also be performing at ASCAP Expo in Los Angeles on April 18,” she said. “I’ve been working on a lot of songs for my second album, it’s a really long process. We’d like it to be out by the end of the summer.”

The teenager said that while there are many perks to being a pop star, she misses her friends, family and dogs while she is travelling from New York to Nashville to Los Angeles. The former competitive horseback rider also added that she misses her horse, Princess.

Although she’s jetting around the country chasing her dream, Isabella remains a full-time high school senior deciding whether to hold off going to college next year, possibly to Belmont University in Nashville.

“It’s definitely hard to balance, but my teachers have been great helping me,” she said. “We try to schedule my travel around school, but I miss a little bit. It’s not horrible because my teachers are so great, and we have a tutor to help me catch up.”

Isabella said that Westchester is an important part of her songwriting, beginning when she was little and would listen to Frank Sinatra with her father in the car.

“My friends live all around the county, and most of my songs are based on our everyday lives,” she said. “Everything that I’ve experienced around here with them, my family, boys goes into the songs.”

While she isn’t touring the country or working on her album in the studio, Isabella stays busy. She is being profiled by Fuse TV, and is starting an Internet broadcast series next month in which she will interview industry specialists. She is also a youth ambassador for the March of Dimes, and will be participating in a walk on April 28 at Saxon Woods Park as the leader of “Ali’s Team.”

Despite all that she has accomplished, the singer said that there is still much more left for her to do.

“I hope to be able to travel overseas for a lot more performances,” she said. “I want to go to Australia, Japan, everywhere. It will be amazing if I get to be able to travel around the world to perform.”
