EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - Pasquale Zingaro died at his home in Eastchester on Dec. 18. He was 77.
He was born Jan. 31, 1934 in Italy to Matteo and Filomana Simone Zingaro. On Jan. 3, 1961, he married Angelina DeBenedictis in Sant'Elia a Pianisi, Italy.
Zingaro worked in maintenance for the Department of Public Works in Scarsdale for 16 years before retiring in 1998.
He is survived by his wife Angelina, his sons Matteo (Donna) Zingaro, Frank (Lynda) Zingaro and Ralph (Happy) Zingaro, his sisters Carmela and Santina, his brothers Luigi Zingaro and Antonio Zingaro. He was predeceased by his sister Vincenza Zingaro.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Edward L. Bennet Funeral Homes in Scarsdale. The funeral mass will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe, followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
