Accidents Cause Delays During Morning Commute

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Morning accidents are slowing down the morning commute Tuesday.

One lane of the southbound Bronx River Parkway is closed following an accident at Ardsley Road (Exit 11) and Harney Road/Strathmore Road (Exit 10) reported at 8:45 a.m. Both lanes had been closed earlier.

It was slow go on the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant between Route 10/133 and Pleasantville Road following an accident reported at 7:45 a.m. that taken out the left lane.

A serious multi-vehicle accident was reported at White Plains Road and Winter Hill Road in Tuckahoe at 8:30 a.m. 

Accidents also occurred on Route 100 in Somers at Plumbrook Road and nearby on Route 202 at Tomahawk Street in Somers as well as on Route 22 at Route 33 in Patterson.
