Alex Fusco, a 26-year-old Mamaroneck resident, was a 2008 alumnus of Mamaroneck High who had a prior criminal record, according to lohud.com. Corrections officials with the jail are investigating what would be the first suicide there in over a decade.

Fusco had been arrested by Harrison police -- charged with larceny and drug possession -- and taken to the county jail, lohud.com reported.
