Betsy Goodell Named President Of Eastchester's Community Fund

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe appointed new executives to its board this week, including Betsy Goodell of Bronxville, who was named as the organization's president. 

Goodell, a Bronxville resident since 1995, replaces outgoing president Gayle Haller. "Betsy has worked tirelessly for The Community Fund over the past three years and we are so pleased that she agreed to take on this new responsibility," Executive Director Melinda Burge said in a release. 

The Community Fund's mission is to support social services through grants and provide technical support to local agencies and community projects. So far this year the organization has allocated $513,450 in grants to programs within the three communities. 

In addition the organization named Dana Arrighi, Robert Castano, Jennifer Colao, Michael Connolly, Fran Harris, Michelle Liscio, Doug Meyer, Elinor Urstadt and Mrk Welshimer to the board this year.
