Community Fund Of Bronxville Names Katharine Outcalt As President

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe recently named Katharine Outcalt as its president for the 2014-15 fiscal year.

Outcalt, who has lived in Bronxville since 2007, is in her fifth year on the Community Fund Board. In that time, she has served as evaluator, team captain, campaign co-chair and president-elect.

She is a member of the Pingry School Alumni Association Board, the Trinitas Health Foundation and an active volunteer with the Bronxville Elementary School Council. Outcalt succeeds outgoing president Jeff Rohr. “The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe is unique in its mission,” said Outcalt. "It is neighbors helping neighbors in every sense of the word. I am excited and proud to be a part of this dynamic organization whose sole mission is to make good things happen in our community.” Other appointments for the 2014-15 year include Doug Meyer, who will take on a dual role as president-elect and Bronxville campaign co-chair along with Annette Healey Dowing; Judi McCandless, secretary; Dana Arrighi, treasurer; Donna Ruhanen, marketing chairwoman; Larry Bettino and Joella Lykouretzos, investment co-chairs; Neal Denning and Susan Kutzin, campaign co-chairs for Eastchester and Tuckahoe; Ron Mager and Cathy Needham, evaluation co-chairs and Judy Foley and Jim Rotenberg as co-chairs of the Community Fund’s Annual Golf Outing. New to the Board this year are Andrea Bates, Kristen Evans, Bill Knox, Jennifer Lescott, Rosetta McArdle and John Reynolds. They will join returning board members Stephen Arcano, Mike Calano, Robert Castano, Jennifer Colao, Michael Connolly, Philippa Freeman, Fran Harris, Michelle Liscio, David McBride, Kimberly Powell, Jeff Rohr, Lauren Toal, Elinor Urstadt and Mark Welshimer. “The new talent joining the Board is exceptional. With the experience and expertise of our returning board members, combined with the leadership of Katharine and the other officers, I am confident the Fund will have a successful year,” said Melinda Burge, executive director of the Fund.
