Con Ed Reports 185 Power Outages In Eastchester Wed.

EASTCHESTER N.Y. - The Con Edison utility company reported that 185 homes in Eastchester were without power earlier this morning due to a storm with strong winds.

The company has since reported that the number of outages in Eastchester is down to six. The storm also hit Bronxville and Tuckahoe, but resulted in only one outage in each of those villages.

In Tuckahoe, school officials canceled all classes and after-school activities as a result of the outages.
