The NY State Senate bill and vote to change the name of the Tappan Zee Bridge is an irresponsible waste of tax payer funds! I am tired of our Representatives spending local, state and federal funds on renaming bridges and roads to the tune of millions of dollars. The renaming of the Triborough Bridge to the RFK Bridge cost over 4 million dollars. Stop already, we are grossly overtaxed in this state and our tax dollars should be used for more worthy programs and projects and not unnecessarily replacing road signs (and more). How much does to cost to redo highway signs every time a new mayor or governor is elected?

Perhaps the NY State Senate and Assembly should draft a bill that prohibits any politician’s name past and present from being placed on any sign on our roads highways, bridges and tunnels.

Stop the waste, we the people don't care about self-serving politicians and stroking of their egos. They are supposed to represent the people, lest we forget.

Kennedy-Cuomo Wasting Our Tax Dollars in vainglory....shame on the NY State Senate; Senator John Flanagan of Long Island and Andrew Cuomo.

Sincerely,

Mary Donnelly
