On Monday, Town Supervisor Anthony Colavita warned residents that he had been advised by the New York State DOT that White Plains Road, between Crest Avenue and Sprague Road would be paved.
“The Department of Transportation contractors will commence catch basin and manhole raising, rotomilling and lastly paving on White Plains Road,” Colavita said. “We will advise residents as to the status of the project upon receipt of information from the Department of Transportation.”
The DOT has scheduled work to be done each night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. The job is expected to last several weeks.
