Gromack's request for $94.5 million in the state's budget would increase police coverage in malls that are larger than 750,000 square feet including the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers, The Galleria at White Plains and The Westchester in White Plains, the report said.

The program would allow municipalities $2 million annually for a mall up to 1-million square feet and 2.5 million for a mall larger than 1-million square feet, the report said.
