Pleasantville Murder Victim Reportedly Faced Deep Financial Problems

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The 76-year-old woman who was found stabbed to death in her Pleasantville home was reportedly facing serious financial problems, according to LoHud.com. 

Records suggest  Linda Misek-Falkoff was facing a mountain of financial difficulty prior to her death.

Public records obtained by LoHud.com reveal that  Linda Misek-Falkoff had $67,000 in credit card debt and four years of missed mortgage payments prior to her death. 

Police have still not disclosed much information on the killing. No arrests have been made and authorities have not disclosed if they have recovered a murder weapon, LoHud.com said.
