Police Release Sketch Of Westchester Sex Assault 'Person Of Interest'

Following the sexual assault of a woman near the White Plains Metro-North station, White Plains police are asking for the public's help to find "a person of interest" in the attack.

As previously reported by Daily Voice, the woman was attacked Wednesday around 11:30 p.m., several blocks from the Metro-North train station on a path that is frequently used by commuters, said White Plains Police Chief Anne Fitzsimmons. 

During the attack, the suspect, described as a Hispanic male about 5-foot-6 with a slim build and pointed nose, wearing dark clothing, rode up on a bike from behind, grabbed the woman and took her to a wooded area where she was sexually assaulted, the chief said.
