EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – The search continues for Catherine “Kay” Cotter, an elderly Eastchester woman suffering from dementia who disappeared along Garth Road on Tuesday.

More than two dozen local police officers coordinated with Westchester County Police to form a task force that utilized bloodhounds, an all-terrain vehicle and helicopter to search the woods along the Bronx River Parkway for the missing 88-year-old woman.

According to police, they have been handing out missing person fliers around town, and checked every train station between Scarsdale and Grand Central on the Harlem line.

Cotter, who lives on Garth Road, is known to frequently peruse the area on foot. She was last seen wearing gray sweat pants, a red sweater, tan shoes and a tan hat. Anyone with information should call the Eastchester Police Detective Division at (914) 961-3464.
