EASTCHESTER, N.Y. — Roadwork on a stretch of Route 22 is keeping area residents up all night due to noise and vibrations from jack hammering and other equipment in full operation from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., lohud.com reports.
The construction zone area runs along Route 22 — also known as White Plains Road — from Crest Avenue through Sprague Road, the article says. Concerns over gridlock prevented the work from being completed during the day.
